Have you ever noticed how different kinds of pavement can evoke different moods? For instance, smooth pavement makes us sing the happy song

Happy days are here again
The pavement just got smooth again,
My butt can last a mile or ten
Happy days are here again

And then there's chip seal (boo hiss!!!)

99 miles of the parkway to ride
99 miles to ride
You ride them quick, you ride them slow
It's still 99 miles to go

We rode about 90 miles today to reach the end of the Trace. We expected it to be our hottest and muggiest day, but were treated to a light, warm rain instead. Bad for the Indy 500 but great for Dave's Cycle for a Cure. Amazing how much that energized us.

We were a little surprised to see they have the exact same signs at both ends of the Trace. Can you guess which one we saw today?

Tune in tomorrow for the Season's Finale!!!!
